Which Nest size should I choose with the Starter Pack?
The Starter Pack comes with different Nest size options. Choose the Small Nest for beginner colonies with 1-30 ants, depending on the species. The Medium Nest is ideal for slightly larger colonies needing more space, accommodating 30-150 ants. The Large Nest is perfect for established colonies with 150+ workers. Keep in mind that different ant species have different space requirements due to their size. As your colony grows, you can easily add another Nest module to expand their habitat.
Do you sell ants with the Starter Pack?
No, we do not sell ants as part of the Starter Pack. However, you can purchase ants from several reputable ant stores, or, depending on your location, you may be able to find ants in nature. Always ensure you follow local laws and regulations when collecting ants and be respectful of natural habitats.
Where do we ship the Starter Pack, and what are the shipping times?
We ship the Starter Pack internationally. Shipping times depend on your location: for orders within Sweden, delivery typically takes 1-3 days. For other European countries and the US, please allow a few extra days. We prioritize quick processing and packaging to get your order shipped as soon as possible.
Do I need anything else besides what's included in the Starter Pack?
The Starter Pack includes everything you need to begin your ant-keeping journey: a Nest, Outworld, liquid feeder, and two bonus gifts—"My First Ant Colony" ant guide and a feeding tray. With these essentials, you’re well-equipped to start your ant colony.
What ant species is the Starter Pack suitable for?
The Starter Pack is designed to be versatile and works well for nearly all ant species commonly kept by enthusiasts. The included Nest and Outworld are suitable for most ants, except for some exotic species, like weaver ants, that require a very high level of humidity. For these species, additional equipment may be needed.
Can I return my Starter Pack if I am not satisfied?

Are the products in the Starter Pack suitable for kids?
Yes, the products in our Starter Pack are suitable for children, but adult supervision is always recommended. The pack contains small parts, such as the Nest and feeding tray, which could pose a choking hazard to young children. Always supervise young ant keepers to ensure a safe and educational experience.
There is nothing as beautiful as Nest on the market today. All sizes are delicately designed to resemble natural ant nests. Our vision is for you to take these and then create your amazing miniature world from it, by combining the sizes to your liking together with our Outworld.
Nest is a design project years in the making, and we can finally say that thousands of ants have found their home here.
Nest and a majority of our other products are designed and produced in Stockholm, Sweden. We are happy to see the products spread across the globe. Maybe you have a colony living in them you want to share with our community?
We've gathered the measurements of all products here for you. When buying a Nest you do not have to buy any extra Antgates, unless you have very specific connection needs. For normal usage, they are all included. The same goes for the sponges.

All three sizes of Nest work seamlessly together. They form a perfect shell-like shape when they are all assembled, but they can be arranged however you like. You can build your own version and create something unique.
Nest formicaria are built to be connected directly to our Outworld. But you can also connect to other brand's outworlds with vinyl tubing. Just attach the tubing to our "Antgate Tube" product and then connect the pieces.
