Quale Nest dovrei scegliere?
Scegliere il Nest giusto dipende dalle dimensioni della tua colonia di formiche. Il Nest Small è ideale per colonie iniziali da 1-30 formiche, a seconda della specie. Il Nest Medium è più adatto a colonie che necessitano di più spazio, tipicamente da 30 a 150 formiche. Il Nest Large è progettato per colonie più grandi con oltre 150 operaie. Tieni presente che diverse specie di formiche hanno requisiti di spazio differenti a causa delle loro dimensioni. Man mano che la tua colonia cresce, puoi facilmente espandere il loro habitat aggiungendo un altro modulo Nest.
Vendete formiche?
No, non vendiamo formiche. Tuttavia, ci sono molti negozi di formiche affidabili dove è possibile acquistarle, oppure puoi provare a cercare le formiche in natura, se consentito nella tua zona. Assicurati sempre di seguire le leggi e i regolamenti locali e tratta tutti gli habitat naturali e gli insetti con rispetto.
Dove spedite i vostri formicai e quali sono i tempi di spedizione?
Spediamo i nostri formicai a livello internazionale. I tempi di spedizione variano a seconda della tua posizione. Per gli ordini all'interno della Svezia, la consegna richiede solitamente 1-3 giorni. Per altri paesi europei e per gli Stati Uniti, ti preghiamo di considerare alcuni giorni in più per la consegna. Ci impegniamo a preparare e imballare gli ordini il più rapidamente possibile per garantire una spedizione tempestiva.
Ho bisogno di altro oltre al Nest?
Sì, oltre al Nest, avrai bisogno di un'arena (outworld) dove le formiche possano cercare cibo. Consigliamo anche un abbeveratoio, particolarmente utile per fornire acqua e zucchero, fondamentale per la salute della tua colonia di formiche.
Per quali specie di formiche è adatto questo formicaio?
Il Nest Formicarium è adatto a quasi tutte le specie di formiche comunemente allevate dagli appassionati. Le uniche eccezioni sono alcune specie esotiche, come le formiche tessitrici, che richiedono un livello di umidità molto elevato che questo formicaio potrebbe non essere in grado di fornire.

Abbiamo raccolto qui per te le misure di tutte le dimensioni dei nidi. Quando acquisti un nido non è necessario comprare ulteriori Antgate, a meno che tu non abbia esigenze di collegamento molto specifiche. Per un uso normale, sono tutti inclusi. Lo stesso vale per le spugne.

Tutte e tre le dimensioni di Nest funzionano perfettamente insieme. Formano una perfetta forma a guscio quando sono tutte assemblate, ma possono essere disposte come preferisci. Puoi costruire la tua versione e creare qualcosa di unico.
I formicai Nest sono costruiti per essere collegati direttamente al nostro Outworld. Tuttavia, puoi collegarli anche agli outworld di altre marche utilizzando tubi in vinile. Basta collegare il tubo al nostro prodotto "Antgate Tube" e poi unire i pezzi.

I love the design of this Water Hub. The water tower slots in easily, and the whole structure is incredibly well thought out. Its size perfectly matches the Small Nest Formicarium, making it an ideal pairing for an emerging colony.
Deze waterbron is heel eenvoudig te integreren met een bestaand nest en mijn mieren hadden al erg snel de weg naar deze waterbron gevonden. Het bijvullen is nu een fluitje van een cent geworden en steeds blijft het geheel veilig voor zowel de mieren als de eigenaar. Een top-product!

I was wondering, would it be suitable to use with the nectar you supply, or is that best saved fort the feeders? Thought it could be cool to have one water one on the Nest Max and then a feeder on the water hub. :)
The products are brilliant the way they integrate into a single system that is very straightforward to setup.
The support is incredible, they had a massive influx in customers during the winter period in late 2025 and they communicated delays exceedingly well.
Overall I love the out world and nest that's I purchased. I have a small colony and the medium next is the perfect size.
My colony is not yet very big (about 50) but I can say for sure that my girls adore this part of their dwelling. Adelaida the Mother now lives there and made it a kids' room. I add water once per week and highly recommend this thingy. Will buy another one when the time comes.
This water hub is basically a tiny spa resort for my ants. My colony now stays more hydrated than I do. It's easy to refill, doesn't leak, and my ants act like it's the best thing that ever happened to them. 10/10 - stay hydrated, tiny kings and queens!

I just got this and at first goance it seems very good. The only problem is that I’d like to block all the light from entering the nest. I’ve used aluminium foil for my nests, but the shape of this nest makes that a bit more difficult to cut a good piece of it and keep it in place. Otherwise the quality seems great.

Another great product from Antkeepers, with similar focus on great aesthetics and well design gates. I had a major issue though with the internal turning mechanism - I cannot use the gear to turn the internal walls and it gets caught frequently. As a result I was shaking the ant colony just to move it and accidentally decapitated an ant because the wheel moves inconsistently. I had to instead remove the outer gear wheel and manually move the inner wheel underneath instead. It's not a coincidence as I have two of these and they're all the same - it appears there's something inherently wrong with the gear mechanism on this one because all others work no problem.
This is such a neat add on, that I had to email them to add it to my order as I saw it after I ordered! Definitely worth it.
The ants haven't appreciated it yet, as they still haven't moved from their test tube, but Im sure they will love the extra humidity it gives off.
Easy to integrate with the nests, simplifies the process of giving the ants access to water, simply a great solution

Got my ant setup not long ago and moved my meat any colony in! The water hub has made it so easy to give them some fresh water. It's also super fun to show to my class of students who I built the ant farm for!

While putting together a first kit with my son with multiple vendors. I wouldn’t know this waterhub would sell out in 2 days or that it be so loved by him. (After all it’s just a waterhub station thing I’d had believed.
All the other stations & sizes from other vendors not nearly as effective, ease & modular, perfect as this reasons unknown.
Wish I could tell you exactly why it is preferred by the colony, too.
